A quick, removable build in a Nissan NV200 for short getaways.
A bed/seat was designed from marine plywood.
The seats of the NV200 are removed and reinstalled very easily, and you can put your temporary bed inside.

So, it was placed in the trunk and the first tests were conducted.
With the help of heavy-duty drawer runners, the sofa opens in 2” into a 140x180cm double bed. Even though the NV200 has a length of 205, we must always leave some space to be able to step down if we want to get up at night.
After a few tests on short getaways, due to the owner's choice to keep the front seats inside at all times, the build was modified.
It was converted into a camperbox that opens up and uses the folded front seats as a base. It also has plenty of space for a refrigerator, toilet, and other equipment.
The only sacrifice made was less headroom from the ceiling, which does not allow you to use it as a sofa.
Two guest mattresses from Jysk were placed on top to keep the cost low.
In combination with a small powerbank, it comfortably covers 2 people for sleep and stay, without many or permanent modifications to the vehicle.
All equipment is easily removed in 10 minutes!
